Metrics were selected, in consultation with the nine participating land trusts, to demonstrate the value of PLC to conservation. The metrics were categorized to four relevant themes: biodiversity, watershed resiliency, climate change resiliency and human well-being. The following table demonstrates the alignment of each metric to the themes with a description of each metric.
